Reiki Level I Training Seminar

Reiki is primarily for personal care and promotes:

• physical healing
• mental tranquility
• emotional wellbeing

• extra sensory perception

In a single weekend, training is available to become a channel of Reiki which entails experiencing four processes called ‘attunements’ or ‘energy transfers’.

The curriculum includes the history, philosophy, principles of Reiki and procedures to conduct a step-by-step treatment on yourself, other people and for first aid. You’ll also learn how to apply Reiki on your pets, animals and plants.

A fundamental philosophical basis to the practice of Reiki is the introduction to the metaphysical causation of illness. These ancient theories are based on the association between unresolved issues from the past, someone’s response to a situation and how the body ‘speaks’ back.

The body is a metaphor for the psyche and illness, disease or accidents are a manifestation of imbalances in the mind, body or spirit related to unresolved issues. Gaining awareness and a clearer perspective about messages from the body promotes a shift in consciousness and is often a catalyst for change and healing.

Reiki is compatible with all beliefs and the only therapy that you can use as effectively on yourself as when treating others. It accelerates the body’s unique capacity to repair, restore and heal. Reiki boosts energy levels, strengthens the immune system; relieves pain, stress and depression; enhances sleep, oxygenates cells and helps alleviate the side effects of medication or surgery.
