Overview
In keeping with the original teachings passed on from Dr Usui there are three levels of Reiki. Level I and Level II are for practitioners, and Level III is for those with a vocational calling to become a Reiki Master.
Reiki Training Levels
Reiki Level I – Foundational Skills
The basic Reiki training classes are held at a weekend. They are interactive and a blend of theory and practical experience to acquire the knowledge, skills and confidence to practice Reiki effectively for the rest of your life.
Included in the curriculum is the history, philosophy, principles of Reiki and the introduction to the metaphysical causation of illness.
The hallmark of Reiki are four sacred energy processes known as ‘attunements’, which are conducted in person by the Reiki Master Teacher. Two attunements are conducted each day which are incremental and facilitate the ability to access and become a ‘pipeline’ or ‘conduit’ for an additional flow of universal life force energy. Reiki flows out of the palms and fingers of the hands at equal strength which is administered for therapeutic benefits.
Students learn how to:
- Conduct a self-treatment
- Treat another person
- Administer Reiki for first aid
- Participate in group healing
- Work with animals
- Treat plants
- Energise food and water
- Address chronic and ongoing health problems
- Register areas of concern in the body that are depleted or a concern
- Develop good practice, amongst other things….
Upon completion of the training class each student receives a Reiki Level I certificate, a comprehensive manual and post graduate support.
Reiki Level II – Advanced Training
A prerequisite to attend this optional 20-hour seminar, held over 3 days is to have completed and reviewed the Reiki Level I class. This ensures students are familiar with the core curriculum and procedures.
Students learn three symbols and receive two further, more complex attunements. These double the potency and flow of energy, facilitate the ability to conduct distant or absent healing and establish telepathic communication. A bonus is the enhancement of psychic awareness.
The Advanced procedures can be administered in person, by direct hand to body contact, or applied remotely to promote healing. Absent or remote healing involves transmitting energy over distance regardless of if the recipient is in the same room, next door, a different town, city or overseas. An additional benefit that practitioners retain the same amount of energy they channel.
Advanced Reiki procedures can be readily incorporated into daily routines and empower students to deal with any eventuality. Techniques can be used in real time or ahead of time, applied to this life, former lives, and other realms.
